Pocket Pets lets you put animated pets on your screen and design your own. This policy explains what data the app and its partners handle.

Data that stays on your phone

Your pets, drawings, animation settings and the sound clips you add are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. They are never uploaded, and they are deleted when you uninstall the app.

To decide which pet animation to play, the app reads on-device states such as the time, battery level, charging state, screen orientation, whether audio is playing, headphone connection, ringer mode, airplane mode, whether the phone is online, the light sensor and shaking (accelerometer). These readings are used instantly on the device and are not stored or sent anywhere.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads from Google AdMob on its own screens (never on top of other apps). To serve and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and ad interactions. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice anytime from the app's "Privacy options" button. Ads are personalized only where permitted. Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase)

The app uses Firebase Analytics to understand which features are used (for example, starting pets or saving a pet) and Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports (device model, Android version, app state at the time of the crash). This data is not used to identify you. See https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

Permissions

• Display over other apps: draws the pets you start on top of other apps. The app does not read the content of other apps.
• Notifications: shows the ongoing notification with a Stop button while pets are on screen.
• Vibration: optional small buzz on pet reactions.
• Network state and internet: used by ads and Firebase, and by the "No internet" pet trigger.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. Ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences.

Your choices

You can turn off sounds, vibration and effects in the app, change ad consent from "Privacy options", and delete all app data by uninstalling the app.
